Whilst at the leaning tower of Pisa, we entered the Basilica there and found this beautiful interior. It seems most of the tourists were enjoying the views outside at the time.

Very beautiful contrast. And light seems very natural. Not so easy to obtain good quality with this kind of light and interior. But you did it! Well done...

Great colors and atmosphere, the people in the distance looking up give a sense of dimension and emphsize the massive scale of the basillica. Interesting angle as well, showing the repetition of the columns. Wonderful composition. Too bad a man's elbow is in the picture. However, this is great work.

Nice capture with very good perspective leading the eye down to the centre of the church. It's often difficult to get a decent shot inside a big church because there are so many dark corners, but you managed to avoid those very well here.

Nice slightly asymmetric capture of the nave of this famous basilica, Joan. You captured the light and colours beautifully. I like all the details that you provide: the paintings, the marble floor the masonry..... Very fine capture.

really nice picture this one. The colours are very beautiful and well rendered. I bet your dream is, to capture this scene without all the people. You go the light really perfect here.

This is a beautiful shot of the interior. I love that you get both the size and the narrow and tall nave. The rhythms of the arches are great. And one of my favorite parts of the cathedral is the mosaic in the apse which is very nicely visible here. That golden and really special light is nicely seen there in the apse. Great job.
