By the Arno river, a photo from Florence, Tuscany

Photographer's Note

This is a view of another bridge of Florence, called in italian "Ponte alla Carraia".
It was the second that was built after "Ponte Vecchio" and it was first named as "Ponte Nuovo".
At the pight part of the photo it's also visible one of the dams that were built among the city limits to pervent a possible flood.

This photo was captured just before arriving to the next bridge "Amerigo Vespucci" ...

What a beautiful, melancholy image of Firenze... I have never seen one like it. Love your pov and harmonious composition, and have to say that the setting itself is a treasure I hope to see again.

I like your composition on this photgraph. The reflection of the town and sky in the Arno is very nice, I also like where you placed the bank of the river on the right side of the image. Well done.

Γειά σου Χρυσούλα!

Εξαιρετική απεικόνιση της πανέμορφης Φλωρεντίας. Όλα είναι έξοχα (σύνθεση, φωτισμός κλπ.) όμως αυτό που είναι πραγματικά εκπληκτικό είναι το πως χρησιμοποίησες το νερο ως "καθοδηγητική" γραμμή. Συγχαρητήρια!

Hello Chrysoula,
I was in Florence last year and I'm sure I was standing at the same place almost but your picture is much nicer that I saw there.
The large surface of the river is good for my eyes.

Very nice this wide view with the village with their old buildings just in the opposite side of the river.

Hi Chrysoula, this is really good ! Your reflexion seen from quite far is marvelous, composed on 2nd third of the pic, that lets a lot of space under to give this minimalist impression and feeling. I also like the compo using the rest of the boat inthe sea.

I love your name,do you know what it means in english?
Your POV for this shot is excellent.The fantastic looking wave leads my eyes to the city with it`s old architecture and the bridge.
The reflections of the city and the sky at the calm water look great too.

a wonderfully different shot of this most beautiful and romantic city of Florence. A novel approach contrasting with the usual shots that we see of this city here at TE with the Ponte Vecchio, Il Duomo, David, etc.

Hi Chrysoula,

Beautiful .. the meditative symmetry of the reflection is tremendous .. but then taken over the top by our own reflection of the feeling of leaving .. the feeling of moving away created by the diffusion and wake like fall on the right.
