Photographer's Note
In old cities the traffic has to find its way. This passage was passed by a bus several times in the few minutes I was on that spot, and that was on a sunday morning. As a civil engineer I hate to think what will happen on that one occasion when the bus knocks down a column.

Wonderful photo! It reallly does look like the bus driver has no margin of error there...
I like the fact that without artificially changing colors the subject is colored while the rest is mostly on a brown-gray scales.
Very well seen and captured!

Very well anticipated shot. Seems you are specialist in "just in time" to catch more than a simple image (another good example with your nuns). I like the matching grey/orange colors, the natural sharpness, and of course, the idea.

Great idea, Ebbe. You had the perfect eye for the moment here. Like Liora wrote, the color aspect is particularly striking on this one. Looking at the bus going through the gate, the traffic sign "pedestrians go left of column" (which is even reflected in the bus window) makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it?
Well seen!

You have a tremendous eye and reflexes to have seen this! Such a great moment forever frozen.

Even the cables on the very top are well placed... The strongest point here, for my taste, it's the orange bus against an almost monochromatic background.

I was attracted to this image because of the colors of the bus against the relative grey of the city.
It's a nice image! It's kind of disconcerting to see the artefacts of the 20th century against the older style of the city. I like the wires above, the power wires for the bus. It's an interseting grid.
Nice note.

i like a lot this composition and i don´t know why i haven´t commented it yet...
elegant, well balanced. i would switch the traffic sign (the arrow) to b&w too, so as to have only the bus in color.
can you imagine the amount of noise and polution people who live in these appartments have to deal with?
(there is at lesat one place like this in Rio de Janeiro, and i personaly think it´s an exemple on how NOT to build a place for people to live in!)
well seen, Ebbe.

oh, this is really a great compo! great title, a tight fit indeed, the bus is well captured. i love the contrast of colours as others mentioned and also the peek we get of the street beyond, through the arches. looks like a low emission bus (hopefully not running frequently) the trams (streetcars), i guess are less polluting. i'd maybe clone the cables at the top of the frame (and just to nitpick, the pattern of the window on the top right)
