SEE WS TOO!
Spring has arrived and even the swans in the park are working to build the nest, I don't know if this is very common in city parks but every year they nest and never manage to get anything, too disturbed and too many predators. Let's hope it's a good year, even if there are turtles in the pond waiting for the little swans to attack them from underwater. In the background you can see the small temple dedicated to Count Annoni, a nobleman of the past in my country and former owner of the park, now a municipal.

La primavera и arrivata ed anche i cigni del parco sono al lavoro per la costruzione del nido, non so se la cosa и molto comune nei parchi cittadini ma ogni anno loro fanno il nido e non riescono mai ad ottenere nulla, troppo disturbati ed anche troppi predatori. Speriamo che sia l'anno buono, anche se nel laghetto ci sono le tartarughe che attendono i piccoli cigni per attaccarli da sottacqua. Sullo sfondo vedete il tempietto dedicato al Conte Annoni, nobile del passato nel mio paese ed ex proprietario del parco, ora comunale.

Lep pogld i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepi labudovi na zelenom polju, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Lepo mesto u prolece sa labudovima koji grade gnezdo.

Buongiorno Luciano,
Early spring with beautiful green and some white blossom on the background trees.
The swans couple were bussy with picking some grains not noticing you with the camera. Nice taken moment.

Hello Luciano,
It makes me a bit sad to learn that these swans work hard every year, just for nothing. Why don't they learn to go to a safer place?
But they gave you good photo opportunities, and of course you made the right choice of main photo. The small temple on a low hill among the trees provide a very nice background.

Hello Luciano, what a pity that the swans nest every year with little success; this situation looks very public.
An interesting shot as we look across the grass towards the small temple and the trees beginning to break bud with the lovely bright colours of new leaves.

Bonjour Luciano,

Les oiseaux sont bien placйs dans le cadrage. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails des cygnes, des arbres et du pavillon. La lumiиre fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journйe.

I liked these details of main post as the tree in flower, the couple and the kiosk, but I liked more the the WS with the mother-swam in the nest. in our municipal like we have no swans, only geese, the big fishes of the lake love to eat the baby gooses when they try to swim. two weeks ago a fisher got a fish of the lake with almost one meter long. I saw the photo.

How sweet. We have swans nesting in several places in my local park, some on islands on ponds, some in most accessible places, like these ones. They usually managed to keep a few cygnets but many get predated by, just name it, herons, pikes, foxes.
Lovely light and I like the saturated vivid greens you captured here.

Hello Luciano,
In Belgium I've already seen ducks that make an island with branches on a shallow place in the city pond, build a nest on it and lay eggs. I don't know if the eggs hatch...
A beautiful nature picture with a good composition and also pretty blossoms in the background.
The swans seemed a bit shy to me when they saw the photographer :)

This seems unusual - swans nestling in a park. At our local lake which has many resident ducks the duckling are most at threat from eels. 2 good swans at work photos.

I'm sure swans cannot value the beauty of their setting, which would influence humans, so it is surprising that they persevere, year after year, to no avail! How sad!

They are beautiful birds, very elegant in the way they hold their heads on their long necks. They provided you with a fine photographic opportunity.

Were you able to get quite close?
I have experiences of being too close to a swan and it chasing me!!

Beautiful and bucolic scene in the park, with these two swans that seem to be gathering dry leaves to make a nest, ideal for the trees in the background with the charming pavilion, after the green meadow.
The WS photos with the swans in action are interesting, although in one of them you can see one already positioned on the leaves.
A beautiful photo, with great colors, splendid light and excellent sharpness with fine details.
