Charming Venice, a photo from Venice, Veneto

Photographer's Note

Charming Venice, one of the beautiful plazas of this beautiful and magical city. Every stone, every crack in the wall, every painting and brick is saturated with sun, love, tragedy and history. This plaza on the photo was close to the 17th century house where we stayed during our one week vacation at this city. The houses are not in a great shape, some painting is peeling off, cracks and damaged walls and structures, but, surprisingly, there is no depressing feeling, on the opposite, they felt charming, pleasant and welcoming.

Venice out of an other angle with the old buildings and fantastic fronts. .
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.

A different view of Venice , but , as you mention , all is interesting in this amazing city . Here , ancient palaces and more humble houses have a lot of charm .

Cela fait drфle de voir une photo de la sйrйnissime sans y voir un canal et des gondoles. Mais cela rend la chose encore plus intйressante. J'aime beaucoup les textures des murs des maisons.

The architecture of Venice is indeed very charming and peculiar, not only due to the canals, but also to the style of the palaces and ancient constructions, full of ample piazzas amidst them. This is a good depiction of that, and well contrasted with the blue sky. Nice work, congratulations!

Hello Mike,
The paint is faded but the buildings have a lot of charm and the colours are beautifully strong and vivid. The single person approaching us plays a major role for the composition.
