Photographer's Note

Sicily, on the island of Ortigia again, facing the sea to the south-east. I walked around in the late afternoon light looking for scenes like this with slanting sunlight in between the long shadows. For this one, beside the Via Eolo, a young man came sauntering along at the right moment so I waited till he entered the small sliver of light at the top left. No cropping was involved, but I do confess to cloning out a tiny portion of a parked car.

The last week of April is truly a wonderful period to visit Sicily.

It seems the EXIF data is still not working.
