In epoca fascista utilizzarono Calambrone per costruire delle colonie estive, i figli di molti lavoratori statali potevano passare qui le vacanze.
Per anni queste architetture sono rimaste disabitate e lentamente sono andate in rovina, ma negli ultimi anni c'и stato un progetto per la rivalutazione della zona.
Molte strutture sono state trasformate in hotel o residence, questa и una delle poche rimaste ancora da restaurare.

Hello Carlo,
Good choice of the square format to present this interesting old building now apparently abandoned. The foreground overgrowth contributes to the sense of abandonment. Very well realised with optimal lights colours and clarity.

This abandoned building makes a great subject for a photo. I like the colours of the old walls and the overgrowth of bushes and trees. I wonder what it is like inside!

How I like places like this! Exelent motive and also an exelent POV and ccomposition. Smart of ypou to let the little hill in the FG into the frame. The light is super vand it is a pleasant day... I wonder how it would be on a stormy day towards dusk.

as you probably know, I love abandoned buildings.
so this one is right up my alley.

lots of history here, lots of grunge, lots of weeds to sort through in the garden :)

Hello Carlo,

I like the repetitive cloud patterns in the sky. Good sharpness and excellent saturation and framing. The weathered and dilapidated old building with the yellow orange bricks and stucco facade contrasts well against the blue parts of the sky. Tfs.
