A fine portrait from the street, neatly converted to good B&W tones. You found the musician in a place with a nice background. I think he is not quite posing for you but you seem to have established some kind of eye-contact anyway.

For a fan of b&w photography like me it's a great weekendgift !
I can held discussions for hours and hours and nobody can convince me that the same scene taken in color would have the same effect like here !

Molto bello questo ritratto, ma ciт che apprezzo di piщ и l'intensitа del b&w, c'и molto contrasto, proprio come il contrasto che c'и la rudezza di questo uomo e la delicatezza dello strumento che sta suonando.

questo ritratto e' spontaneo ed interessante, c' e' ottimo contatto con il soggetto che sembra voler discuttere. Il musicista e' ugualmente interessato a te e parla con i suoi gessti ed i suoi occhi, un dialogo intrigante. Mi piace molto l' illuminazione morbida ed i grigi profondi come sfondo per gli elementi piu' chiari e piu' espressivi. Complimenti e grazie!

A successful mono shot with great feeeeling!! A pleasant looking street entertainer this gentleman it seems, and what a great character! something you can see in the lines of his face. But he looks a real musician to me the look on his determined eyes says that his heart and soul are in it and the contrast is effectively stronger with lots more punch which he deserves. This is not only a lovely capture of communication and energy but an impressive and expressive image too. Remarkable shot :)

Street scene so well captured. I like the sense of movement created by the position of the bow and the slight blur in the violinist's hand. Great idea to present it in black and white with the wonderful play of light and shadow.

I have to admitt that i'm not totally into people photos, but this one I really do like.

the lighting is quite elegant in how it plays on the violin, and i like the bg door.

Lo strumento, le mani, l'arco violino e la faccia sono i componenti di questa composizione, che sono di primaria importanza, il resto и solo la materia oscura, tra cui il suo torso, che fortunatamente per l'effetto complessivo si fonde anche in nero. This shot really appeals to me Romano. The dark tones of door, cap and jersey provide a wonderful contrast to the man's face, hands and violin. The lined formed by arms and bow give the image a quiet dynamism and attractive graphic quality. This is a perfect choice for B&W and I like your processing very much!
