Sunny afternoon on the banks of the Ticino Castelletto di Cuggiono, usually in the fog.Greetings to everybody by the dog of my last pic, removed from the gallery.

Good Morning Luciano,

This says so much that is true about winter: the bare trees, the pale sky, the brown grasses, the stilness, almost as if Nature is sleeping.

I love your pov, here the water leads the eye, ever so slowly, past the rocks and the shingly beach, to a strong disappearing point.
The details are sharp, the tree is very well positioned and the reflections are beautiful.

Hi Luciano,

Good composition with all the elements of the picture very well placed from an excellent point of view. The stream leads the eye well and emphasises the depth of the picture, I like the hazy quality towards the back with the f/4. Nice reflections and very sharp too. TFS

excellent composition with nice rich colours
The stream running through the tree which helps add scale.
One of the other guys commented that he liked the f4 adding a haze towards the back.

I prefer my landscapes to have full depth but here it does work well and does nothing to degrade the image

J'aime bien le point de vue. Le regard suit le petit cours d'eau dans l'image. La journйe semble fraiche mais les couleurs sont trиs belles. Le cadrage vertical donne de la profondeur а l'ensemble.

Mi vien voglia di postare un cane giusto per farmi cancellare e far divertire i censori di TE! Che devono pur guadagnarsi la pagnotta, no?
Potremmo metterci d'accordo un giorno e mettere tutti quanti una foto di un cane.

Mi dispiace che il tuo cane del pipi' e cancellata, ma non e un grande sorpresa. Pensavo che forse era contro il TOS. Ma ha fatto mi ridere :) Questo paesaggio e davvero bello. La luce, la simmetria del fiume e la struttura sono da favola. Questa e un capolavoro. Complimenti e passa una bella giornata.

Salut mon "chum" comme on dit chez-nous,
Une photo simple mais trиs intйressante et parfaitement composйe. L'arbre qui s'йlиve dans ce beau ciel bleu est magnifique et est le principal essence de la photo.
Le ruisseau qui suit la berge et se perd plus loin ajoute de la perspective. Belle couleurs а saveur automnale et beaux reflets.

Foto romantica e oserei dire pittorica. Bel colpaccio, sembra un quadro post-impressionista. Baci non a te, ma al cagnetto piscione che ha tutta la mia solidarietа! Non te l'aspettavi? Anche a me hanno bannato un cane e lui era tristissimo, di recente vedovo. Nessun rispetto neppure per la vedovanza! Quelli il cuore se lo sono fatto in padella, con soffritto di cipolla. E poi, ovviamente, lo hanno mangiato con gusto. No?

Delightful view of the riverside. The colours are great, and the light also. Pity for the dog but the rules... I liked this dog but you were a bit noughty to make a shot in such an embarassing situation :).

Perт! questo Ticino ha proprio degli angolini deliziosi!
Credo che qui siano state determinanti due cose: l'ottima composizione che inquadra l'albero in primo piano e la curva del fiume che dа una buona prospettiva e la bellissima luce pomeridiana che ti ha regalato colori caldi e intensi. quindi ovviamente il riflesso fa la sua parte da leone.
