I like the crane on the right side, looks like a helpless attempt to prevent the tower from falling.
Suggest to crop the people at the bottom. B/W seems not the best choice to me, would prefer color.
Some 40 years ago I was on top of this tower. There were no ropes, nor any other safety precautions. It was crowded with many many tourists. We could go there on our own risk. Never heard about anybody having fallen down ;-) I let a small stone fall down from the upper gallery in memory of Galileo Galilei.

really impressive indeed...
weird if you spot the antenna wich is straight up in the air compared to the rest of the tower... italy would be a place i would like to visit someday... dommage que la photo ne soit pas en couleur!

Very dramatic, and the B&W does good to it. Too bad the quality of the image isn't superb.
I would have tried to get this from the grass without the people in the foreground that distract the attention from the tower.
