This is really superb Chrysoula. At first I thought it was a black and white shot, until I saw the red traffic lights.
You composed it really well, with this tight crop on the road intersection, and the glistening wet streets and low light make for a hugely atmospheric image.

This is so good Chrysoula. I love empty places, streets filled with void, and when I see a large urban frame with a single person on it my sensibility is always touched in some way. The overall chocolate tones are amazing but what really strikes me here is the quality of your light control. That red semaphore is the cherry on the top of the cake. Love this one a lot.

Υπέροχη νυχτερινή φωτογραφία! Μοιαζει με ασπρόμαυρη, αλλά στα στοιχεία γραφει "colour". Όχι πως έχει καμία σημασία. Η ατμόσφαιρα είναι υπέροχη και οι αντανακλάσεις των φώτων στο βρεγμένο δρόμο καταπληκτικές. Η τοποθέτηση του θέματος σου στο κέντρο της φωτογραφίας, στην προκειμένη περίπτωση, είναι απολύτως πετυχημένη. Συγχαρητήρια!

Merry Christmas, Chrysoula! This is very nice--I like how you the red light as a tiny color accent. The bicyclist really does look solitary and alone. I think the shot might be even more effective if you cropped it closer, so the cyclist was not quite so small. You would still get the effect of his solitude and the shiny wet streets, though you might lose the red light. Good work though! Regards, Ken.

You have quite an interesting gallery, filled with gorgeous pictures.

I really like the composition of this one, taking advantage of roads geometry. It looks like a B&W but when we see the red light, we understand that it’s a colour shot.

The wet streets are awesome and makes the shot highly dramatic.

Excellent timming to capture the biker, perfectly placed in the image.

very atmospheric photo that transmits us the feeling of the calm after the rain when the first "temerarious" go out again. The tonality and the lights are really excellent. Very amusing to see the red lights with still traffic.

Hi Chrysoula, this is an interesting picture, original picture, i first thought it a sepia one but i see the red thing.
Very moody and good atmosphere created in it due to this cyclist going through the compo, reflected one, after rain, full of roads, yes this is very good !

There is a lot of visual strength here, in that dark and monochromatic compo. A lot of graphism too, thanks to all the curves made by the roads. Excellent.

Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα η φωτογραφική σου συλλογή.
Οι φωτογραφίες σου χαρακτηρίζονται απο απο φαντασία και πολύ καλη τεχνική.
Η συγκεκριμένη είναι μία εξαιρετική λήψη με έμφαση την μοναχική ύπαρξη του ποδηλάτη .
Πολύ καλό το τρίγωνο που σχηματίζουν οι βρεγμένοι δρόμοι και οι αντανακλάσεις σε αυτούς.
Αυτό που με ενοχλεί λίγο είναι τα αυτοκίνητα στο κάτω μέρος.

Non posso dire che molto buono lavoro, ma hai preso un persone con bici. Ahh nell questo foto ho ricordato miei vecchi giorni a Modena. Anche ho una bicicletta, abbiamo usato ogni tempo( mattina-notte). Per questo motivo mi piace...
