Ritorno nel mio paese con una foto comico-drammatica. Tu as bien capturй l'action de l'homme qui envoie du sel sur le chemin. Cela arrive ici aussi mais un camion le fait. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails des voitures. Bonne soirйe.

I've heard of salt on icy roads but never seen it being done. Very effective with the salt being very visible.

Interesantan pogled i trenutaqk, dobar tekst ...
Lepo mesto i tretak posipanja soli na ulici, dobro pokazano sa lepim boajma, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa radnikom.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Radnik radi svoj posao i rucno posipa so na ulicu.
Kod mene u gradu, padala je ledena kisa i nije moglo da se hoda po trotoaru, bas je bilo opasno.

Zelim vam lep dan, sve najbolje za vikend.

Well captured the moment of the salt particles flying in the air. The uniform of the man is so weather appropriate with bright torusers making him visible from the distance. I suppose in the darkness in the car lights only the trousers would be visible which would be quite a surprising view for a driver.

You highlight a very real problem, that of ice on footpaths and how it is dealt with in your area. The colourful clothes of the salt spreader, carrying the green bucket, give him a very festive appearance.
You have been able to capture the salt spreading out in an arc.

WE have a wagon spreading salt on the lanes and roads, and salt containers are placed at strategic points where it can be accessed but we do not have a dedicated pedestrian salt spreader.

Hi Luciano,
You captured the flying salt perfectly on your shot. Here in Finland salt wouldn't usually work. Instead we use huge amounts of gravel to prevent roads and pavements of getting too slippery. And in spring when snow has melted away, gravel is a real annoyance as it makes clouds of dust raised by traffic and wind.

salt is useful for this, but I guess even in small portions it causes a damage to nature.

Sensational shot, which shows how the salt is spread by the man. Really well-done, my friend and thanks for sharing! On the other hand I think that this is not good for the roads and the cars. Spreading some grounded stone is a better idea in my view.
