Photographer's Note

Pievepelago is a municipality of 2.335 people in the province of Modena. It belongs to the Comunit Montana del Frignano (Mountain Community of the Frignano), which has its own chief town in Pavullo of the Frignano.

Pievepelago is known for the Federal Summer Centre of Tennis, of the Italian Federation of Tennis (FIT, which is part of the C.O.N.I.), founded in 1957.
Here were playing champions of the past, as Panatta, Barazzutti, Bertolucci, but also the actual champions, as Schiavone, Pennetta, Seppi, etc.

Pievepelago is above all a nice, quiet and green little village, surrounded by mountains and lakes. This shot was taken on the path for Lagosanto (Holy Lake), boarding the creek Scoltenna.
