Photographer's Note
Hi everybody,
another shot from Donegal, this time showing a boulders on the beach near Bloody Foreland. During this very evening, it was't land that was bloody, but the sky. All hues of red, orange, purple and pink together with a deep blue reflected on the sea is what makes this shot speacial for me.
I used my beloved 40D & 17-40L, Heliopan polarizer and 2 Lee ND Grads staggered in the holder. Also remote control and sturdy tripod was used.
Processed in Lightroom, resized in Photoshop CS2
No blending or HDR, this is a single exposure shot.
Kind regards,
Viktor

Hi Viktor,
fantastic foreground. These rocks are just beautiful. Great composition.
I am mostly jealous about the weather though, I was in Donegal twice and in both cases it was raining most of the time, so I never really got to Bloody Foreland yet.

Hi Viktor,
A nice capture with marvellous lighting on these multi-colored stones!
The movement of the water is fantastic and the background is comlimenting to the lovely composition.
Nice vertical format which suites well and indicates depth of field.
Well done.
Regards.

Hi Victor,
Beautiful light, marveloous detail and colour on the boulders. I also think your POV added to the overall feel of the shot. TFS

Hi Viktor,
If there is any reason for me to go to Ireland it is because of these views and pictures. Those rocks in front make it to a perfect composition and also the vertical framing workd perfect here. But we both know that it's the light and the slow shutter waht brings the mood. The magic of LR the the knowledge how to use the Lee system is cleary to be seen here, wonderful gradient, very natural and very smooth....great shot.

Henk

Hello Viktor,
And I was at first thinking that you made a joke about the name of the place... The light balancing is clearly up your alley. Very well done. That must have been a big stack of filters, but worth all the efforts if looking at the result. Nice!!
Greetings,
Dennis
