Intrinsically, it contains within itself the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress and freedom. The sculpture is located by Sжbraut, by the sea in the centre of Reykjavнk, Iceland.

Hi Burak
Since I first saw this sculpture here in trekearth I wanted to visit it but have not had the chance yet. Your photo is sublime. The colors and muted light are so perfect for your description of this dream boat, they too have a dream like quality. This is the finest image of this work I've ever seen. Really nicely done

This is marvelous, Burak.
The most know sculpture in Iceland, perfectly taken from the POV chosen, with good view out to the bay.

Strangely, I have just seen this curious sculpture on a television program describing a weekend visit to Reykjavik by a TV chef! I like your composition very much. The background seascape makes the perfect backdrop. Beautiful lights and pastel colours and superb sharpness. Thanks for sharing.

This is an excellent image although the lighting is bit flat and you have made the artistic sculpture stand out with the sense of broad open space to explore yet closer enough which gives a sense of immediacy. The background is the obvious connection towards the distant shore....

The sculpture for sure looks very elegant and has some beautiful curves.
The underlying landscape with the snowy mountains near the sea makes a wonderful backdrop.

I first saw this beautiful sculpure in a photo by Roger (rogerl), which you can see on the first page of his gallery. Your picture has a very different mood, its colours are mostly cold but the atmosphere conveyed is sweet, calm and delightful. The sculpture is really attractive and elegant, I like that you kept the context minimal but also deep and interesting. Congratulations and thank you!

The symbol matches the idea I have of the country, far away mysteriouys places to be explored. The structure itself is very interesting, and it was perfectly framed, in a good diagonal perspective. The colors of the cold are amazing, and you used them well. Excellent work, congratulations!

I like this profiled view of the old styled boat with the reindeer antler motifs. Good sharpness and the blue and white colours work well here. Good graphism too. Tfs!
