Photographer's Note
The Capital of Kyklades Syros is the capital island of Kyklades with a long history of shiping and industry production.Main port and capital is Ermoupoli,used to be one of the most important economical cities during the 19th century.One of the most characteristic things about Ermoupoli when having a panoramic view is the number of churches "dominating" the city,among them The Catholic church of Annunciation.The photo was taken from a boat while returning from my recent trip to Mykonos.
PP work:Contrast,saturation,sharpening,magic tool to give this blue colour instead of the original grey and finally framed and resize.

Γειάσου Παναγιώτη, εκτός από το καδράρισμα που με αρέσει πολύ, βρίσκω και την "στρογγυλή" συνέχεια μεταξύ των κτηρίων, των γωνιών. Αυτό το κάπως θωλό εφέ της, της δίνει ενδιαφέρουσα εντύπωση.

Hi Panagiotis,
Great capture of this city..I like the scene which you've framed out from the total, the church fits in well and pops out too. Good colours, fine sharpness and details.
The sky has a bit odd colour I think, grab another colour another time :) a lighter and softer one. Applying some degree of tones in it is nice aswell.
Further good work.
I'll visit this city this summeR! I arrive there on 10-aug.
Tips on Syros are welcome.

Wonderful shot! The lighting and colors are outstanding as is the sharpness and DOF. The blue domes add contrast to the pastel colors of the buildings. The sky is a little odd in color, maybe a little darker blue would work better.

Πολύ ωραία άποψη της Σύρου. Η πυκνότητα του οικισμού και ο ομοιόμορφος χρωματισμός προσέδωσαν ελκυστικά χαρακτηριστικά στην εικόνα. Δεν μπορώ να γνωρίζω το εστιακό μήκος του φακού που έκανες χρήση, μπορεί πάντως και αυτό να συνέβαλε στην όμορφη συμπίεση του βάθους πεδίου. Τουριστικού και όχι μόνο περιεχομένου φωτογράφηση λοιπόν. i like the dreamy kind of pp on this shot... yes it is too neat, the colours look unnatural, but it reflects the beauty of ermoupoli at its best... i dont know, may be i miss syros, that's why... :)))

Wow, it almost looks like a miniature model. Very beautiful and I think you may have given the picture a mystic blur and it makes the picture very mysterious. Great job.

αυτή η θέα της Ερμούπολις με αυτό τον χρωματισμό των σπιτιών είναι διαρορετική από αυτήν που ξέρομε και που είδες και αποτύπωσε ο φακός σου.Το αυτό φυσικά ισχύει και για τον ουρανό.Αυτό φυσικά δεν αναιρεί το ότι η φωτογραφία σου είναι πρότυπο καθαρότητας,οξύτητας και φωτισμού.Σέβομαι την φωτογραφική σου άποψη για αυτήν την παρουσία και οπωσδήποτε μας δείχνεις ότι έχεις άποψη και φαντασία στην επεξεργασία μιας εικόνας.Το αποτέλεσμα μου αρέσει επίσης για το στυλιζαρισμένο του στυλ.Πολύ καλή.
