Photographer's Note

An old fishing boat on a surprising visit to the harbour of Ayia Marina. I haven't seen it around for a long time now. It bears traditional features and colours but has also a unique style and offers attractive photographic subjects, especially when it's graced by the clear morning light.

Hello Ourania,
It's nice to see you describe the fine features of the old fishing boat. It doesn't really make me much wiser since i can't see it properly, but you have once again found some rather original and very attractive reflections. They combine fairly identifiable features with more twisted ones. It's definitely a very attractive view, once again something to enlarge and hang on a wall. I think your collection of reflections could be used for a very fine exhibition.

Great reflection picture, Ourania, yet another masterpiece painting over water.
Light used superbly, and the surface is well "polished" sea. Charming mild blue's.

Hi Ourania,

This is your camera on drugs...I'm not entirely sure what I'm seeing, but I like it! :) Joking of course, I've enjoyed each and every one of your reflections. What I like the most about this type of composition is the open air of imagination. Leaving out the immediate, associated objects which create the abstract visual, there's more room for the mind to roam and be creative in its own right. Now, having said that, it's not just anyone, or any reflection that makes for intriguing imagery...and you have a strong sense of what tantalizes the senses, and not just snapping away because its there. Love the light here, gracing its way throughout the scene with varying shades. Nicely scene...I mean, seen. :) Enjoy the weekend. Take good care.

the dominating blue color tones only enhances this excellently captured and conveyd maritime feeling of the scene.
And distorted reflections bring lovely,abstract element to the whole composition and make it really one of a kind.
