Photographer's Note

When I visited Lefkada island first time 8 years ago this place cast a spell on me. The cliffs are magnificent and almost any time of the day it looks just fabulous. To get to the cape, which is down south of the island, one needs to negotiate about 15 km unpaved road. It can be tricky but for me it was worthy all the effort. Apart from being exeptionally beautiful this place also has a romantic story - legend has it that from one of the most famous ancient Greek poet - Safona - jumped off the cliff. The reason, as you probably guess, was tragic love.
