Photographer's Note

The village of Artemonas is spreading in the near by hill,so climbing on it,i saw two wind mills that are used as guesthouses, one of them is this.
The opposite Mts are belonging to Paros island and the other, the smaller on the right, to Antiparos island.

This village was named after the goddess Artemis, one of the twelve Greek Gods of Olympus. In the same area, where the church Panagia of Kochis is built, during the ancient period existed a temple dedicated to Artemis. The main road that leads to Artemonas covers all the North side of the island, ending at Herronissos. Artemonas is characterized as one of the quietest and ideal places of the island for vacation. The wonderful view, the graphic alleys, the cozy taverns combined with the ideal climate and excellent touristic substructure compose a unique option for your accommodation in Sifnos.
