An older photo from Greece today and a sunday-one:-))

I found this photo with the title "For The Love Of God"
a song from Steve Vai, one of the best guitartists in the world. Last friday, my son and I went to the G3-concert in Amsterdam. A guitarists-event, a fantastic show with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and their guest this time, Deep Purple's Steve Morse ( On the Australian-tour, Toto's Steve Lukather was the guest ).
It was my sons first concert and he didn't want to miss this. Still have my ears:-))

Concerning the photo : the patron saint of Cephalonia, Agios Gerasimos, was known to have lived in Anafonitria as a hermit. The name of the settlement itself was derived from the Monastery of Anafonitria, which was constructed in the 14th century. The patron saint of Zakynthos, Saint Dionysius, was known to have spent his final years in the monastery.

Hi Hans,beautiful minimalistic composition whit all the greek juice inside.A typical white architechture of the greek islands,a a very nice perspective too.Spectacular light management,these white walls in the full sun are always a big problem..ehehe....have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello HAns ,
So simple , but so attractive ! Perfectly framed and exposed .
The blue sky is a little grainy , but I can't explain the reason .

Hello Hans,

very attractive in its simplicity. I also like the geometry, the three colors and the structure of the wall. The sky is a bit grainy, but I like it nevertheless.

Dag Hans,

Even op uitstap geweest maar dateren van 2006, naar Griekenland.
Iets extra's gevonden met de gevel van de kerk, bijna twee ogen en een neus.
Goed foto werk, bedankt.

J'ai bien aimй la note d'accompagnement !
Le choix du cadrage est fort bien pensй et correspond а la simplicitй de l'йdifice.
Il suffit de voir la croix en bois (du moins, je le suppose) pour deviner qu'il s'agit d'un йdifice religieux trиs ancien.
Trиs bonne soirйe.

Cadrage bien fait, d'une grande simplicitй;
j'aime bien le contraste bleu - blanc, avec le haut de faзade animй par la croix et les 3 ouvertures.

A beautiful shot, I love its simplicity and there is something so appealing about vivid white against blue like this. Lovely point of view too. Thanks for the great note.
