Photographer's Note
A summer-family-summer house in Ayia Marina, Leros, built in the early 1900s. It's only inhabited for a couple of months every summer.
The curious construction on its top is said to be an observation post.
In front of it there is a narrow but usually busy street leading uphill to Platanos.
On Leros, in the gardens of most houses (old and new) there are citrus trees.

Hi Ourania
A good upward pov, with excellent colour, saturation & sharpness. Good warm vs cold color contrasts between the blue sky & yellow red facade of the building. Have a nice weekend!

Hello Ourania,
Another great reportage from the lovely Leros. This summer house is a little bit different from the ones you've shown earlier, having a yellow color (most of the summer houses I know are typically white) and a bonus observation post. This is a very useful and wisely addition cause I'm sure the view from this post would be charming. And needless to say, how I miss the smell of the orange blossoms. I see you're having fine weather Ourania, I envy you my friend. Have a great Weekend. Take care.

Hello Ourania.
I like the capture with overgrown nature on the fence. Beautiful details against the blue sky.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

Come la mia riflessione precedente.
Dodecanneso e imperi centrali (Austria e Germania) e ..cerniera la Turchia.
Inghilterra e difesa interessi petroliferi.
Pascali's Island is a novel by Barry Unsworth, first published in 1980. The first United States publication of the book by Simon & Schuster was titled The Idol Hunter.
The film version, produced in (1988), was written and directed by James Dearden. It stars Ben Kingsley, Charles Dance and Helen Mirren.
The novel is set in an island which is an outpost of the Ottoman Empire in 1908. Basil Pascali is a spy who reports regularly to Istanbul on the activities of the local people. He expects to be found out at any moment. When an English archaeologist arrives on the island, Pascali is suspicious of him, and the archaeologist's involvement with the woman Pascali loves creates further tensione.
