Photographer's Note

Sifnos belongs in the west Kyklades islands complex of Agean Sea. This island is rocky, as all of them, with very few plantations and windy most of the time (but mostly in daylight). So inhabitants (being more ecological than former Greeks) were using the oil of nature to power their agricultural activity.
This one stands on the backbone of the mountain that forms the island, close to the beautiful village of Artemonas surrounded by the blue sea.
Originally a film slide, was scanned by a Nikon coolscan 4000 as a tif file.
