Strolling in the narrow pedestrian roads of Monemvasia i saw this well lighted church with the prickly pears on the foreground.

Hello Danos,
The bookmark shape makes this photo eye-catching, but even more so the illuminated chapel in the blue hour. The stone wall and the large plant of prickly pears are nicely featured and make a good contrast to the warm light on the white church wall. I like the composition and the light management is impressive.

A marvelous outcome in the blue-hour, Danos. There was enough light to see details in clear manner, and the already illuminated church edifice gave extra charm to the nice evening ambiance.

Hello Danos,

Wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the blue hour sky and the yellow illumination on the monastery. Good sharpness and shadow detail and the prickly pear plant with its red and green fruits adds repetition of patterns and shapes. Tfs!

Indeed, Monemvasia is a very picturesque village.
The light on the church provides a beautiful colour contrast during this blue hour.

eccellente foto, il taglio mette in evidenza il cammino scuro e la piccola chiesa illuminata.
La qualitа risente delle difficoltа di esposizione, ma и del tutto normale.
