The photo
This is a very old photo of mine, one of the first I made with my first SLR Camera, the Nikon D70. It was taken at the "other" side of Thessaloniki, from the suburb Kalamaria. By the way, the name of this boat is called 3 Adelfia = 3 ΑΔΕΛΦΙΑ, which means 3 brothers.

* ISO 640
* 32mm
* 1/180 seconds
Color adjustment, cloned some dirt away in the sky (dust), tone mapped, neated, sized down to TE size.

Πολύ καλή φωτογραφία Σάκη!
Το όλο σκηνικό είναι υπέροχο με την βάρκα να πρωταγωνιστεί βέβαια, αλλά και τους άλλους συντελεστές όπως την βαριά συννεφιά με τις ακτίνες του ήλιου να την διαπερνούν, την προβλήτα και την πόλη στο βάθος. Ο φωτισμός στην βάρκα αλλά και γύρω της είναι καταπληκτικός. Οι λεπτομέρειες είναι εξαιρετικές. Έχεις ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στις βάρκες πάντως και μάλιστα στις παραδοσιακές!

A great composition; the storm coming up from the background is impressive and very well captured with the rays of sun pearcing the clouds. Good saturation and point of view with a lot of details on the boat, the main subject.

Hello Saki.
Great PP work you have here enhancing greatly the boat like leaving the rest as a complement and what a nice complement you have back there.
The dark, menacing sky, the city along the shore line and that little pier all contributing to this successfull photo.
I like this kind of works a lot so you can keep on bringing'em.

toller Himmel! Einzigartiges Licht, das du hier hattest und das Boot im Vordergrund passt hier perfekt rein. Mir gefдllt auch der kleine Streifen orange ganz rechts und natьrlich der dramatische Himmel. Klasse Bild, Kompliment!

πολύ ωραία ματιά και απομόνωση του θέματος από μια τοποθεσία χωρίς να δίνει με την πρώτη ματιά το κάποιο φοβερό θέμα, παρόλα αυτά η οπτική γωνιά και το τελικό αποτέλεσμα είναι εξαιρετικό, εύγε!
