Photographer's Note

Hello TE friends!
I would like to say a big hello here to those who know me from the past.

The photo
This photo was taken on a lovely and warm early spring day in April 2005. It is an elder photo of course but I wanted to start with an invitation, like saying "Oriste, welcome and enjoy".

Post processing
The photo was taken with ISO 800 at f5.6
To reduce the noise I used a plug-in neating filter for photoshop (neatimage of course, not the standalone version). Before the neating procedure I doubled the layers. The first one was for the sharpness and the second one for the neating. Afterwards I combined both layers into one by setting the option lights on it at 70%.

Personal note
Hope you like my starter. It seems to me a lot of things happened since my "goodbye". I do not know who is active and who not. By time I hope I can find old and new friends here, again

Hello Atha! Welcome back, did we ever write to each other :)))) I don't think I have. Anyway, this is a great return with this beautiful strong sunset; the orange goes well with the tablecloth, smart restaurant keeper :))) I like how you carefully composed this picture, half table, half sea, in a diagonal way. Hello Sakis and welcome back

I remember of writing few words on this(the previous one was a little bit much more saturated)...and even I have chosen it as a favourite,but still remember your old photos...amazed by the quality ;-).And as I did before I`ll choose it again a favourite.

Well...it`s very inviting...and my order is...your old Hamburg shots.
Somehow I`m a little bit confused...but that`s just me.I`ve enjoyed your fc gallery.Looking forward to see your new photos.

Καλωσόρισες και πάλι Σάκη
Όλες οι φωτογραφίες σου (όπως και αυτή εδώ) είχαν έντονη "προσωπικότητα" και σίγουρα έλειψες από το site, τουλάχιστον για μερικούς από εμάς. Πολύ καλό και ποιοτικό το PP εδώ, με πλούσιες χρωματικές πληροφορίες και στα πιο σκοτεινά μέρη αυτού του δύσκολου θέματος.

Welcome back. I'm happy your return with an amazing photo that we know some of them your earlier posts. Hope everything are fine for you and family.

I'm not a post processing man but your post include fantastic results that I liked a lot mix of golden-reddish colors during sunset. Adding empty tables of restaurant and silhouettes of pier is excellent idea especially with visitors. I like also your way reserving more space for golden reflection on Aegean water. Congratulations.
