Brilliant ! I love river picture with a long exposure.
Nice colors, nice contrast, nice POV !

The grayfilter has been useful for this kine of picture :-)
Did you use a Cookin gray filter ?

Refreshing image, though it's not that hot in Paris those days ;o)

I tried the same procedure..but with my automatic camera it was mission impossible. Then I tried SLR..and I found out that there was no problem in camera, but in me :-)..I should take some lessons from you how to take shots like this..30secs exposure...what are the others parameters??by setting camera.

Good example on how to use ND filter.

From your experience - would it be enough to have just 5-10 seconds exposure for the same effect or very long exposures make it even nicer ? I don't have a ND filter yet, so I could not experiment with such long exposures during daytime.

Very good moving water shot with good colours and a shutter speed that gives a strong feeling of power. You are right, it is a rock with a definate trunk.

I love the light and the silky mood of the water. It's really a great exposure. The composition is very well balanced with strong elements on the foreground as well on the background. I love the very natural color tones. A great photo.
