Photographer's Note
Something different from the castles
today..and back to people photography.
I couln´t decide which one to post color
or b/w,-the color version in in the WS.
I added contrast and grain to achieve a
non-digital look.

Hi Hermann.
I think the BW version is better.
I really like the concentration on their faces.
It seems that added grain adds to the quality of the photo. Very good!

A very nice candid shot - the two woman seemingly unaware of the goldfish bowl status of their position - one wanders too if the man is related - if so he's ignoring them and perhaps thinking of his bank balance! Excellent work!
best wishes Kev

Grea look to this shot! Your black & white processing is good, and the with the grain it definitely passes for a flim shot. Interesting little scene, with the people behind the window and the man on the street. Great work!

Hi Hermann, A nice peek of the window shopping. Interesting PoV to see through the window, the reflections, and the contrast of the different expressions.

Very curious image. I like the mood. There is the feeling o discovering what I what here. The black and white also adds a lot of character. Nice DOF and POV. Well done, Gabriel

hi hermann,
b&w is not bad at all but the colour version has something more apart from nice grain and subject;
somehow fc, well processed, speaks to me better (this time);
anyhow - good to see you back with the humans;
have a good evening, jerzy

Great observation of this moment, Hermann. A nice symmetry of the ladies poses looking at the watches and jewelry, well balanced by the somewhat more indifferent guy on the opposite side. I think the color version would work equally well, perhaps with a slight overall desaturation of the colors.

Hi Hermann,
I vote for B&W version. In the colour one, gloss of the intems in the show window grab too much attention. B&W stress the women and it's good.
Thanks,
Marek

Hi Hermann
A marvellous tonal range in this ourstandibg b&w image. Excellent sharpness & lighting. A good daily life shot. I like the 3 women peering through the window.

Hi Herman
Great shot. I like a lot the detail both women in the right side were glasses (it is like if they wanted to see everything perfectly) and they get reflected and are view double, they look like four!
Good election for b&w, good composition

This is very nice… Both BW and color are very nice images even if with different feelings. This one has a certain timeless feeling which I like a lot and also brings out the details and, shapes and textures. In the color version I like the warmth of the tones, although I would personally reduce the brightness even more to create a more intimate feeling.
I like the subtle humor of the man in front of the window where women are “displayed”… :-)

Hi Hermann. quite funny this one; the windows make multiply the women; it looks as though there are 4 of them admiring the jewelry. and what does the man do? He is not interested. Looks so much like what happens practically everywhere. good one!
