My 4000 photo in TE !!!

Castle Neuschwanstein.

Neuschwanstein Castle, (English: "New Swanstone Castle") is a nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Fьssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner. Ludwig paid for the palace out of his personal fortune and by means of extensive borrowing, rather than Bavarian public funds.

The palace was intended as a personal refuge for the reclusive king, but it was opened to the paying public immediately after his death in 1886. Since then more than 61 million people have visited Neuschwanstein Castle. More than 1.3 million people visit annually, with as many as 6,000 per day in the summer. The palace has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle and later, similar structures.

Schwangau is a municipality in the district of Ostallgдu in Bavaria, Germany. The village lies 4 km from the larger town of Fьssen and just 1.5 km from Hohenschwangau, a collection of tourist-oriented facilities adjacent to the major tourist attractions of Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schloss Hohenschwangau.

Schwangau has no railway station, but is served by buses connecting to Fьssen, Hohenschwangau, and other nearby Alpine towns. It is the next-to-last town on the Romantic Road tourist route that terminates in Fьssen.

4000 is a lot of photos, many congratulations on reaching this milestone. And, what a splendid image to celebrate with. A classic view on this fairytale castle, but one that is impossible to tire of. The weather worked very much to your advantage here. The image is perfectly exposed and has superb colours and clarity. Wonderful depth.

This spectacular fairytale castle was a good choice for your jubilee, especially from this angle where its dramatic location is so evident. It's a quite fantastic view with wonderful surroundings in perfect colours. Hollywood could not have made it better.

Thats very impressive indeed, congrats.

I wonder how this castle looked when it was finally constructed many years ago. Was it just as pretty and photogenic back then too, or was it more rustic looking.

And you celebrate it with another wonderful picture of this castle. Now you must have found the most interesting point of view.
From here you present the castle from a good angle with all towers nicely on a row. The castle rises in a very impressive way high above the plain and also above the forests. Pretty framing with the mountains slopes.

Ooo, Ty tu ciągle działasz :). Gratuluję przede wszystkim, że masz sam zamek. Ja byłem dwukrotnie i ciągle remont był i w sumie do bani wychodziło. Oczywiście kadr i światło bez zastrzeżeń :).

Pamietam jak kiedys jhm osiagnal 1000 to wydawalo mi sie nieosiagalne, a Tobie stuknelo juz 4000!
Jestem pod wrazeniem Twoich zdjec z Neuschwanstein. Swietnie wykorzystales tutaj moj ulubiony obiektyw, wyprodukowales wysokiej jakosci fotografie pokazujac tak znane miejsce w bardzo orginalny sposob.
Czy to jest widok z Marienbruecke? Juz nie pamietam.
Kiedys bylem na spacerze wyzej i widzialem ten zamek naprawde z lotu ptaka ale to byly czasy bez aparatu. Jak teraz bardzo zaluje.
Szeroki punkt widzenia pozwolil Ci zamiescic skaly po obu stronach mamy poczucie wawozu, naprawde znakomicie oddales polozenie tego zamku. W dodatku pogoda dopisala i swiatlo i barwy sa po prostu doskonale!
Wspaniala praca, gratulacje!!!

Swietnie pokazany ten zamek z tej perspektywy.
Naturalne , skalne obramowanie dodaje uroku, a wzrok wedruje az na linie horyzontu.
Dobre jakosc, atrakcyjna letnia kolorystyka, az chcialoby sie tam teraz byc.
