Every year when the Tour de France has finished
All over Europe you can find small Fairground races and the “Rhede City Night” is one of them where people can see the heroes of the Tour and here the racers earn their real money.
This was the race of the Juniors that took place before the main race.

Hoi Hermann,
Een zeer bekend beeld in Vlaanderen, de wielersport met zijn talrijke wielerpelotons, altijd zeer kleurrijk door de sponsering. Zoals hier bijna allemaal een verschillen,de T-shurt met voldoende reklame. Mooi zijn tegenwoordig de fietsen in carbon, in de zomer ben ik zeer actief op mijn reace fiets.

Love the colouring of the cyclists and I also like the way you have captured the spectators head. It really adds to the anticipation of the race and that something important is about to happen.

Another nice and vividly colorful entry into the "bicycle race" section of your album, Hermann. The anticipation of the athletes before the start is well shown, and the young spectator peeking into the scene at the right is a nice inclusion.

I like this compo and the candid shot of all these cyclists - the boy looks like he's almost hero worshipping or full of excitement - then we have this wide range of atttitudes and expressions - some of which are really funny!
A very nice image - Bitgurger is nice too!!

C'est vrai que le Tour de France ne reprйsente pas tout le cyclisme, il y a йgalement ces courses cyclistes rйservйes aux amateurs dйjа avertis а voir leur musculature. J'aime la position de certains cyclistes : enthousiastes, dubitatifs, йnergiques, etc.
Une trиs belle prise de vue haute en couleur.

Hi Hermann, A good catch to show the mood before the race started. It looks that there were not much room between the bikers. You have to struggle to get ahead at the very beginning. A very well captured picture with sharpness and clarity. Well done.

This a good one with this coloured front view and in the frame the spectator.
Also a good quality for the picture.

Nice shot and informative notes. As a fan of cycling, this shot is particularly beautiful for me. The bikers seem eager to start the race. Nice colors, only thing that bugs me is the boy on the bottom right. You might consider cropping that part out. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot Hermann...

Interesting to see the starting lines of such events. Reminds me of the starting lines I photographed for my brothers triathalons. The slew of bike helmets and bright colors makes for an interesting subject, and the addition of the spectator to the right is a nice touch.
