Photographer's Note
The picture similar to Craig's photo of today and the note will be also similar :).
Before going to Frankfurt (and other towns as well) I checked where to go and I planned my route. I wanted to see and capture beautiful blue hour view of Mainhattan, taken from the bridge or other side of Main. Something like here. I went to the right spot but what to do? The weather was bad, no blue hour, no panorama was seen. But I am not as obsessed like some our friends, who must have blue hour and must take the photo similar (but better) to hundreds shown already before. No panorama? Never mind, I was happy anyway and saw many interesting places less known.
This is the view from the Schirn Kunsthalle. Unexpected is sometimes the best.
The Schirn Kunsthalle is an exhibition hall in Frankfurt, Germany, located in the old city between the Römer and the Frankfurt Cathedral. The Schirn exhibits both modern and contemporary art. It is the main venue for temporary art exhibitions in Frankfurt. Exhibitions in recent years included retrospectives of Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Alberto Giacometti, Bill Viola, and Yves Klein. The Kunsthalle opened in 1986 and is financially supported by the city and the state. Historically, the German term "Schirn" denotes an open-air stall for the sale of goods, and such stalls were located here until the 19th century. The area was destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War and was not redeveloped until the building of the Kunsthalle. As an exhibition venue, the Schirn enjoys national and international renown, which it has attained through independent productions, publications, and exhibition collaborations with museums such as the Centre Pompidou, the Tate Gallery, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Hermitage Museum, or the Museum of Modern Art.
I will upload two more pictures as Workshops.

Hello Malgo,
Well spotted, this photographic opportunity. Good tight framing puts the emphasis on the subject. I like very much the lights and colours and exceptional rendering of the detail. By the way, did you ever recover your backpack?

Hi Malgo
yes, its nice to be thought of as an inspiration haha :)
I see the resemblance in your story and in the photo itself.
shooting upwards to the sky can bring out great looking shots.
Here, i like the difference in the sky color from bright white in the middle to a darker shaded tone on the outsides of the dome. and of course the red umbrellas are a key focal point and color splash. love the visual effect of all the black lines too, lots going on and it works!
cheers

Hi Malgo
At first glance I thought these were delicate flowers and this made me think of the posts by our friend Takero in Japan, it looks like a flower from that beautiful part of the world. Very interesting view looking directly up like this, a place u didn't get to visit when I was in frankfurt. But I was not clever enough to research before going. Great artistic post. I hope all is well :)
Best wishes

Dear Malgo,
I saw your photo first, so I wanted to write to Craig that his photo is really similar to yours. Now, I see it was vise to read the descriptions first. :)
It is a really nice abstract, portraying a special piece of art.
Best Regards,
Gy

Hello Malgo,
A nice tribute to Craig. I saw a similar sculpture using umbrellas in Thessaloniki in Greece which makes me want to go there. http://media0.trover.com/T/552ebb448e7cb25a6b0002a1/fixedw_large_4x.jpg
The red contrasts well against the green cyan bg. Tfs!

Ciao Malgo,
Il y a quelque chose de très spécial dans ces parapluies de plus en plus suspendus dans les rues d'Europe où encore dans les édifices comme celui-ci. Quelle bonne gestion de la lumière.
Amicalement

Hello Malgo,
I don't know if this is a temporary installation or part of the permanent interior decoration, but it looks good anyway. The red umbrellas go well with the greenish roof. The workshop photos are also good, but this is probably the most elegant composition without disturbing details.
Kind regards,
Gert

il colpo d'occhio è molto simile a ciò che ho visto da Craig, ovviamente i soggetti sono diversi, ma la foto è proprio simile.

Witaj Malgo
Seems that Craig and you got about the same inspiration for your shots trough the glass windows of great buildings. The red umbrellas certainly are an eye catcher up there. But the frame work of the dome is equally interesting and create some nice geometrical pattern.
Pozdrawiam

Hello Malgo, yes, sometimes the unexpected or unplanned turns out the best!
I like the composition with the large circles of the domed roof(?)complementing the red circles of the umbrellas.Lots of straight lines too which provide a nice contrast with the circles.
Regards Jean.

Hello Malgo
No problem the bad weather and light you made the best of the situation and produced a very delicate image that looks like flowers growing toward the sun.
I have to make compromises due to poor light all the time in the UK! They should produce cameras for UK weather only to make it an all year round hobby!
Cheers

Hi Malgorzata!
When I saw the thumbanail, I thought it was another one of his series. I like it, the composition and the way the umbrellas stand out so nicely. Very nice graphism.
