Photographer's Note
Run!
Fast!
Faster!
Faster still!
Always faster!
As fast as the speed of sound!
As fast as the speed of light!
But where to?
And why?
Think, then! And you'll surely find you don't have to run. To win. To be the only one in the spotlight. To be the best.
One day or another, there'll be someone running after you, wishing to outdistance you. To outclass you. To kill you.
A neverending race. For what? For whom?
So think. Stop running. Slow down. Take back your breath. Stop watching the clock. Take your time. Stop craving always for more. Stop worrying about inflating your bank account. Stop believing the ads are there for your own good. Stop buying consummer goods you don't need. Stop being selfish and insensitive. Stop... many things, I'm sure of it.
Be yourself. Look at me. Look around you... and change the world!

Well spotted and carried out. Great compo of the two on the bench and the advert. A picture of both movement and stillness.

Wonderful photo, full of live Dominik. The contrast between the woman and the boy versus the bilboard of Nike is great (I fell more atracted to the lady than the perfect body of the advertasing). The compositions is great: We all live overwelming by the publicity.
PD: I ought to say you should have 673728325 points instead the superboring colections of sunsets people use to ahhhh! ohhhhh! ehhhh! (including those sign by me).

but it would be hard to change the world by standing still and look around Dominique... the last words in my contribution of today was: "I'll run when there's no place to hide, and I'll hide when there's no place to run to"... so what shall we say? the thruth is in the middle? ;D I can live with that hahaha...
now for the photo... Supadupa!!! I like how you give yourself photographic challenges and I enjoy watching the results... and here it turned out to be a quite strong one... you've done a tremendous job here... together with the note this is a favourite for sure...

A fine combination of reality and poster. I think it can be cropped harder but I am not sure.

Very good composition. The contrast between what they want that we become and what we are (happy to be so: I know it seeing the look of the woman!. )

salut Dominique.
Tres bon coup d'oeil, tres bonne realisation.
bravo

Well seen Dominique and finely captured. I take it that you DON'T own a pair of Nike running shoes... ;-)
I note the care with which you compose this photo. Well done. There is a bit of perspective distortion that I would likely have eliminated but then I tend to be very particular about such things when I'm presenting an image that has a strong graphical sense to it, as this image does. Contrary to Yitzhak and Ebbe, however, I like the light fixtures at the top. They convey the sense of this place where the glare of bare fluorescent lights is expected. Colors and details are nicely rendered as well. Excellent work all the way around.
With regard to your note, I'll simply observe those are sentiments perhaps most easily expressed by folks in the their twenties and more easily acted upon by people in the sixties. Of course, I've been wrong before... ;-)

Excellent shot!
The appropriate color of beautiful clothes and the form of legs of a mother and a daughter is contributing to this scene. Also the curve of the surface of a wall!

You did it !

J'aime bien me faire bousculer comme ça! :)

I like your pictures on the Metro where you isolate a small detail of the subject from the whole scene. Avigur workshop shows that removing the lights does I think concentrate the eye on the main subject. Excellent focus and handling of exposure in difficult lighting conditions

This one is interesting for me. I like contrast here- real life contra "dreams". The wall with poster looks strange in that perspective- oryginal. Expression on the face that woman- i dont know really what can I think... I dont know,.... really,
PS. You know what, I readed your note and you know what I agree with you but only a litle bit, because what happend if you tell your note somebody who dont have a job and dont have a many and who is just poor. What the happend.....?

J'aime beaucoup. Une très bonne idée et bonne composition. Merci
