Photographer's Note

Collioure in South of France
Few small towns by the Mediterranean in this region have kept the original setting in the same way as Collioure - close to the Spanish border.

Loved by painters and artists and very popular to visit for anyone in the region. I stayed here last in April for some days when in the weekend participated in the small TE gathering in Nimes (a bit up the coast).

And in two days I'll return this time with my D70 (as the Olympus used here was stolen the day after in Perpignan).
Should you be around the next two weeks you are welcome to contact me (use e-mail in profile) as I'll stay in our family apartement in this little town along Cote Vermeille - or just look for the man on town with his old D70..

Une vue trиs originale de Collioure. On voit juste la citadelle au loiin qui dйpasse du bateau. La profondeur de champ importante t'a permis de crйer une belle image avec un avant plan des plus accrocheur.

Very well framed, the boat is going perfectly and lets appear this famous monument of Collioure. I like the solft colours as well and the way you manage the shadow at foreground.

Bravo, cette prise "a de la gueule". Elle ne manque pas de recherche(cadrage etc...) et d'originalitй mкme si certains denonceront son cфtй carte postale dont il n'est pas sыr qu'ils parviennent а l'йgaler.
C'est ici sur TE une prйsentation assez inйdite de Collioure.On perзoit trиs bien le plaisir pris а rйaliser cette photo.

This type lens 14-42mm is my unknown but you took a very nice picture.

The lens + the close pov + the subject make the visual impact really strong. And the cool sunny light from South makes it soft... That's a good compo !!
