Caress me!, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

This sculpture located near Forum Les Halles in Paris, reminded me something that happened to me in Turнn (Italy).
Walking in Piazza Castello, I saw a young woman that carried a big poster, where one could read: “Abbracci gratis” (Hugs for free). She approached to me with a huge smile in her face, and without saying any word, she gave me one of the longest, warm and sincere embraces I remember ever!

What a nice initiative, isn’t it? But at the same time, it is a bit sad that the lack of affection is so large, that make unknown people launch themselves onto the streets to alleviate as much as possible, the shortage of love in the world.

But let’s take the positive part of it: a gesture so pretty like this one.
Love, affection is what turns the world upside down, so from my modest contribution:

Escultura curiosa y que, por tanto, es agradable de ver claro. Creo por eso que le falta algo de definiciуn aunque es viernes y estoy hecho polvo asн que no estoy seguro.

Eso de los abrazos estб bien. Aquн tambiйn estб de moda y el otro dнa me encontrй gente de esta por las Ramblas. Algo curioso.

Excelente la imagen y la nota que cuentas de Turнn. La foto me parece buenнsima en su composiciуn: la escultura es tierna y colocada perfectamente en tu cuadro. Lo que me interesa tambiйn es el contraste que percibo yo entre el calor de la escultura y el ambiente urbano de la plaza (que me parece mбs o menos frнo de emociones) y que agrega impacto al arte.

Una escultura impresionante y muy llamativa, me gusta el efecto que crear estando ahн como tirada o abandonada, es un lugar con muchas posibilidades y eso lo viste bien, la perspectiva es buena e incluir gente en el plano tambiйn es interesante, el cielo molesta un poco, las nubes hicieron que saliese demasiado blanco, igual con otro punto de vista lo podнas haber evitado pero en lнneas generales es una buena fotografнa con una composiciуn bien trabajada.
