Photographer's Note

Still on the same wet January morning in first light. I was trying to avoid standard shots and I found this guy who was a lot more serious in his approach. He made very serious preparations and also had an assistant. In the picture he is in front of his camera adjusting something.

The reason for the silhouette effect is that he is standing under the roof of the peace monument at the end of the park.

Maybe his idea was not so standard after all, the top of the tower were hidden in the clouds from time to time and he might have been waiting for that.

His equipment looked quite professional compared to my matchbox camera but I carried mine around all day, on the other hand his making a living and I am just killing wasted travel time.
