For the Chinese New Year the Eiffel Tower was illuminated in red.
By the way I don't own a tripod so I know it is blurry.

Michelle you have made a picture with a nice angle. But it is unsharp. I tink the shot is moven. Try to use a longer shuttertime. But try to held your camera still. Better next time.

Welcome to TE Michele. Although the photo is a bit on the blurry side, the colour is showing very well.

Hello, Michele! Nice first picture but I tend to agree with robbertjan - it's good, just a little blurred. Maybe it would have been better with a tripod. I like the way you've included the trees around the tower to frame it.

Wellcome to TE Michele,
the mood is very good when lit in red.
But next time if you haven't brought along a tripod with you, you may try to lean on something for example, a lamp post and shoot, the effect may improve a lot. This is one of the solution for low night shooting with a slow shutter speed
