And even if the observation is ephemeral and the sun quickly plunges under the sea horizon ... here is another view of the sunset with this time a vertical format which highlights the reflections, framed on each side by the rocky cliffs.

The colours are wonderful, but the best features of the photo are the well captured reflections across the water and the dark rocks contrasting the brighter upper part.

A beautiful sunset photo with a very nice and long reflection in the calm water of the sea. The silhouettes in the foreground add a very nice frame also. The warm and cold pastel colours look very appealing here.

Bonjour Jean, this is a wonderful picture.
I love how the reflected light from the sun is a vertical line that reaches almost to the rocks in the foreground. Plus we have a horizontal line of orange across the sea, beautiful.

Hello Jean,

WE have seen quite a few sunsets, recently but it would be tough to beat this for skill and beauty!
The sun has painted the whole sky with its rich, fiery colours and somehow, created a similar coloured cross on the surface of the sea!

I like how the silhouetted f/g dips, to make a stage for the setting sun!

Sunsets at sea should always be vertical formats if some frame is available - which your chose perfectly. Well exposed, which is difficult here.

Mкme sur la partie des rochers partiellement submergйe on retrouve encore les tons orangйs.
Le format vertical rйpond le mieux а votre objectif.
