Le vitrail йtait, semble-t-il, une passion de nos ancкtres, les vitraux qui existent encore, nous le montre. Au dйbut ces donateurs semblent кtre restйs anonyme.mais trиs vite leurs armoiries apparaissent. Il en йtait autant des seigneurs que des ecclйsiastiques, йvкques,chanoines.
Ce vitrail reprйsente Sainte Rosalie (Vierge а Palerme, en Sicile, sauf erreur).

Stained glass windows can prove to be both attractive and interesting to photographers.
This one is a real cracker!
It is tall, it is colourful, it is decorative and you have captured the whole with excellent clarity.

Le sujet est bien cadrй. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails des vitraux. La lumiиre qui passe au travers des vitraux fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journйe.

Hello Philippe, Very beautiful stained glass window although not so old. beautiful colours, excellent sharpness, perfect cut. Nice scenes from the life of Saint Rosalia.
St. Rosalia from Palermo, as a 14-year-old, refuses to marry Baldwin from the royal family. She runs away to a nearby cave from the riches and splendor offered to her by which her husband candidate tried to bribe her. There he begins a hermit life filled with mortification and prayers. Hmmm.

Merveilleuse cette composition, sous la forme d'un "carnet de notes", rйalisant ainsi la totalitй de ce fantastique vitrail, а l'image de Santa Rosalia, les couleurs ne pouvaient кtre moins fascinantes.
La nettetй, l'йclairage, et la composition magnifique.
