The Catholic Church of France, sometimes called the "eldest daughter of the Church" owing to its early and unbroken communion (2nd century) with the bishop of Rome, is part of the worldwide Catholic Church. The French church is under the spiritual leadership of the Pope, curia in Rome, and the Conference of French bishops.

The beautiful and unique architecture of this church dramatises the composition really well which is nicely exposed under the bright warm sunlight revealing its vividness of colours details and textures. Love the sense of depth in this which is enhanced by the subtle shadows. Lovely catch and pleasure to view. Well taken shot, TFS

The light was ideal to capture this impressive Romanesque church. I like the contrast in tone and texture offered by the framing trees. Very good rendering of the textural detail. Bon dimanche.

During my last visit in North France where all the churches close, also different churches are totally empty
Nice composition, excellent presentation with a nice sight on the tower.

Les arbres cadrent bien l'йglise. La prise de vue permet de voir une double perspective de l'architecture de l'йglise. Une bonne gestion de la lumiиre intense qui ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bon dimanche.

On revient а la Papagolfade standard, comme tu nous a habituй pendant une si longue pйriode.Faire l'inventaire du patrimoine bвti appartenant а l'йglise catholique en France doit кtre une tвche herculйenne mais combien plaisante.

I would have liked to see the whole the church but I guess that, by cropping in this way, you eliminated distractions and made this presentation look timeless. I like the architectural details and the fine textures you captured even in the shade. The play of light and shadow creates an intriguing atmosphere, I like the effect of the strong light on the stone, it almost makes it shine. Congratulations and thank you!

I like the angled pov showing 2 facades of the church steeple. Good shadow detail & sharpness. The lighter blue sky enhances the graphic effect of the dark shadowed tones of the church. Well framed and composed. The 2 trees either side nicely frame the church. Tfs!

The old church stands majestically here, its simple facade beautiful in its simplicity. The sun gleams on the tiled roof and on the leaves in the FG. Framed well with the trees, this is a fine work!
