hello Claude,
Très belle image de circonstance avec cet artisan merveilleusement "lumineux" devant sa forge.
Belle capture forte et belle vérité de cette composition.

Hi Claude !!!
An art at work:) Professionally captured and delivered, blacksmith's work so much appreciated for centuries, now a rare delicacy. Love the burning light on the face of the hard working man, he must be making wonderful things out of steel.
Thanks for sharing, best regards !

Hello Claude
Great work under very difficult circumstances, and pretty sharp for 1/30th sec, assuming you weren't using a tripod. Interesting colours emanating from the different light sources, but nevertheless I wonder if this isn't a candidate for monochrome?
Warm regards

Hi Claude
A low light affairs but full of atmosphere with great attention to detail, the stunning sparkles of hot iron really works against the setting. Iron work, is an art and watching the artisan at work sure to be a great life time experience and a rather special engaging and intimate under tough lighting conditions. The glow from the firelight mainly catches on the fully engrossed artist is truly magical. A great photographic work and above all lots of content to look at and strong in its effect. Well done, TFS.
Kind regards

Outstanding capture, Claude. Accurately exposing fire can be tricky, but you've gotten a beauty here with a 1/30 shutter speed that shows the sparks without washing any of the dynamism out of the scene. The orange light cast onto the ironworker is wonderful as well. Nicely done.

Ces métiers anciens font partie de notre patrimoine et ta belle photo leur rend un bel hommage. Le coup de lumière qui rougit le visage de l'artisan est très bien exploité et permet d'obtenir une intéressante gamme de couleurs pour l'image.

Hi Claude,
There is a management of the light here that should even make Rembrandt envious. A very good photo and an interesting view of his works.
Kind regards

Oups loupé celle là. Belles étincelles, lumière rouge sur le visage + éclairage dans le dos, brillance et noirceur du métal. Beau témoignage.
Bonne soirée

Bonjour Claude,
I love this picture!
The lighting is just fabulous, especially the blacksmith's face as it is lit by the hot glow and the bright sparks of the forge.
Despite the low level of the light, you have managed this picture exceedingly well with no evidence of camera shake or noise. Your composition is excellent too with a good "connection" between the man and the fire.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. In English, we call a man like this a "blacksmith", but we have a word for a man who puts shoes on horses - a "farrier" - I believe that word comes from the same French origin ("ferrier") as your word "ferronnier".

Hello Claude. A photo from the world of work. Everything is illustrated very clearly and precisely. Strong and intense colors. On sparking fire I enjoy most. Rgds, Wolfgang.
