Kapla..., a photo from Basse-Normandie, North

Photographer's Note

A stroll through the port area of Blainville, near Caen, where unfortunately the casual visitor, and thus the photographer, is not authorized to access to the docks.

Planks of wood stacked and stored in a storage yard along the road, before reaching the forbidden zone, have after all made my day !

Faced with this stack, I immediately thought of the famous small wooden planks that adults and children play with for years... I had my title!

Ici les plaquettes de bois sont en couleurs et quelles couleurs !
Le graphisme est superbe, comme quoi avec deux ou trois morceaux de bois tu arrives а une trиs belle photo !

Ou un tйtris qui n'a pas eu une fin heureuse ! ;-)
Voilа une photo dont la composition me plaоt bien pour son originalitй et son graphisme. Ton oeil affutй a su dйceler en ce lieu un intйressant potentiel graphique.
Par-contre, je ne suis personnellement pas emballйe par la couleur verte qui est un peu trop flashy а mon goыt et que je trouve du coup un peu trop agressive mais c'est une question de goыt.
Ce que je constate est que mкme avec du bois, tu arrives а avoir des couleurs qui pиtent et lа-dessus, je te tire mon chapeau !

A geometric feast which creates curiosity among people looking at its icon. The differing greens are appealing, the chaotic emptiness is perfect.

The location of No on the right and the number on the left made me wonder whether that's just a proof of a circular world. :-)
