Some members of this site like pictures of windows, so me too I have experienced this subject between the streets of Cluny, after quite boring tour of the famous abbey. The light was not great, but the subject wrapped in the american grapevine with the last leaves, was really irresistibile.

AVVOLTA NELLA VITE AMERICANA

Alcuni membri di questo sito amano le foto di finestre, cosi' anche io ho sperimentato questo soggetto tra le strade di Cluny, dopo la visita abbastanza noiosa della famosa abbazia. La luce non era il massimo, ma il soggetto avvolto nella vite americana con le ultime foglie era davvero irresistibile.

La vigne cadre bien la fenкtre. La prise de vue permet de voir les dйtails de la fenкtre. L'image est claire et prйcise. Bonne soirйe.

It is a beautiful view of a window. The window itself is quite ordinary, but the vine around it and the net curtain inside adorn it so well. Well seen and rendered, I hope Krzysztof likes it (his favorite theme is windows).

un bon cadrage sur cette fenкtre et cette plante grimpante, on imagine le lieu en pleine saison estivale avec un dense feuillage ou encore mieux а l'automne lorsque que les feuilles jaunissent ou prennent une teinte rouge ...

Une scиne que je connais bien , puisque j'en ai aussi partout sur les murs de ma maison . Il s'agit ici de parthenocissus triscupidata , originaire d'Asie ; а ne pas confondre avec le parthenocissus quinquefolia originaire d'Amйrique du nord .

There are lots of nicely matching colours here, and the dying leaves surrounding the window are attractive on their own. It's a simple composition but a very well spotted view which resulted in an attractive and quite artistic photo.

Ici, c'est la vigne qui fait la fenкtre. C'est probablement l'automne car les maigres feuilles ont pris les couleurs de la rouille. J'aime beaucoup ces rideaux de dentelles.

Hi Luciano,
There's something quite poetic in this image. Almost bare vines around the window give a feeling of cold December weather. I bet it would look quite different in summertime. Rough wall and window texture goes well with old fashioned lace curtains.

direi che si tratta di un'ottima prova, a me le finestre piacciono e spesso evito di fotografarle altrimenti farei la collezione.
Ci sono poche foglie, ma quelle che ci sono ci offrono una grande varietа di colori, interessante la finestra, tutta bianca, con le tendine bianche, ma con due bande molto scure in alto e in basso.
Direi che puoi continuare a fotografare finestre.

I guess "windows" is one popular theme on TE, luckily they are differ bfrom one to another. The dry branches around teh window frame gave yet a nice added element to the scene.

I see you are competing with Krzysztof for the most interesting or unusual windows!
It is a fascinating theme and one at which you are both very skilled!
This window has character, like an eye peeping from the security of the vine! And, with brown eyelids, the eye is open wide.
Your symmetrical composition is perfect for the subject, emphasising its regularity.

yeah, there's nothing wrong with window photos, they've become perhaps even more popular than reflection photos.

both are themes that I've learned alot from, with my time on TE.

in your shot here, I like the vines, the old white curtain, the peeling white paint, and the textured wall looking like sandpaper. good close up textural shot. cheers

Was the famous abbey so boring? I haven't been there. In fact, I find the windows usually boring. OK from time to time but not too much. But this one looks nice with the lovely curtains. probably there were also window shutters. beautiful grapewine around. My windows are also surrounded by Parthenocissus tricuspidata.

The pictures of an old windows are very romantic. The vain around is like a frame to the picture. In summer time looks even better when the brown leaves replace with the green ones.

Luciano, the grapevine has climbed and grew on this old wall. Then it was pruned to not block the window. I like the curtains. Excellent daily life observation. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
