Near my home there is a shrine dedicated to Mary, Our Lady of Laus.
In the 17th century a young shepherdess, Benoite Rencurel, had many apparitions of Mary and Jesus Christ; so it is now a place of pilgrimage with a basilica, chapels, a way of the cross and accommodation. A lot of people are coming. A request for beatification is being processed.
For me it is above all a quiet place in the middle of nature where it is pleasant to go peacefully to meditate.
Here I present to you an old wooden cross which would be that of the apartments of Christ; is this the authentic of the 17th century? I’m a little dubious with these religious stories....
in WS a few candles and the ceiling of the heart of the basilica of a baroque architectural style and quite loaded and that I therefore deliberately framed at the most minimalist.
