A few minutes after the photograph of this post: Gordes , a montgolfier took off. It was one magic moment to see this balloon going up carefully in these lights morning of Luberon.I put my teleobjective for shot the scene.
June 4, 1783, at Annonay (Ardeche), close to their paper mill, the Montgolfier brothers succeed in for the first time making steal an object manufactured by the man. The balloon of fabric and paper, inflated with hot air produced by the combustion of a mixture of straw and wool, rises with nearly 1.000 meters and traverses 2 kilometers in 10 minutes. The first voyage inhabited in the montgolfier will take place on November 21, 1783 in the park of the castle of la Muette in Paris. Drawn from the site: http://www.linternaute.com

What an atmospheric and nostalgic view...
I wish I could fly away too.
The only criticism I have is about the two red spots on the right that are somehow disturbing the beauty of the scene. Have a look at my 'montgolfiers'! I hope you'll like them, too.

Hello Fabs,

Superbe ambiance ! La montgolfiиre apporte une trиs belle touche а cette scйne ! Les couleurs sont trиs belles et on peut voir pas mal de dйtail dans le dйgradй !
Pour le fun mais ce n'йtait pas indispensable j'ai fais un WS en augmentant un peu le sharpening !
Bravo pour cette image matinale !

Ton voyage dans le sud t'a bien inspire, joli dominante tres chaude sur cette photo sur laquelle le ballon meme de petite taille se detache parfaitement, et cette goutte qui flotte en l'air c'est tres harmonieux. Bon j'arrete la je transpire deja a regarder ca... ;-))

A photo of a lone hot air balloon is so effective - as proven by this image.

Belle atmosphиre et surtout trиs agrйables couleurs ! Ceci serait toutefois assez classique s'il n'y avait pas ce ballon. C'est donc trиs bien vu. Un seul regret, les reflets du soleil dans l'objectif, avais-tu oubliй ton pare-soleil ? N'est-il pas possible de corriger cela dans Photoshop ? Bonne soirйe,
