Hello Jean,

It is minimalistic, with little evidence that it is not monochrome. I like it its simplicity very much.
Do you get the impression that the trees are skiing down the slope!!

Bonjour Jean,
Very well spotted repeated motif of the tree. The snow pattern seems having a diagonal texture and the trees add additional diagonals with their shadows.

Hello Jean,
One word, 'Simple' ... another word, 'Purity'.
Playing with light and the shadows its creating on the white slope.
It seems to me that the snow is slowly melting and the shadows of the trees are getting longer and bigger ... eventually leaving a few brown patches as seen in the picture.
Well spotted before it's no longer white ... but brown.
