Philippe, that sculpture adorns a fountain. It represents a strange head, not a really a lion maybe the beast in the story "the beauty and the beast". Good work of the stone. Fine colors, excellent image quality, amitiй.

Most blue stone are very hard.

Au dйbut, je pensais que vous aviez pris cette photo en Italie.
J'aime trouver une telle tкte au-dessus ou prиs d'une fontaine.
Nous ne savons pas ce qui se passe dans la tкte.
Mais c'est un lieu de croissance pour toutes sortes de plantes.

From memory, these stone statues of lions and other frightening beasts were often used to ward off evil spirits & bad luck as a kind of talisman. Good texture and sharpness. Tfs!
