La cathйdrale Notre-Dame de Laon est une йglise situйe а Laon, dans le dйpartement de l'Aisne et la rйgion Picardie. Elle est l’un des premiers йdifices majeurs de style gothique en France. Construite aprиs celle de Saint-Denis et celle de Noyon, elle est antйrieure а la cathйdrale Notre-Dame de Paris.
Cette cathйdrale fait l’objet d’un classement au titre des monuments historiques par la liste de 1840

Bonjour Serge,

L'utilisation de la lentille de 10 - 20mm permet de voir en entier l'architecture de la cathйdrale de Notre-Dame de Laon. Le seul inconvйnient, cela donne un effet de lentille prononcй qui est difficile а corriger en raison du manque d'espace. L'image est claire et nette. Bonne journйe.

Le ciel se prкtait bien а cette prйsentation architecturale dans laquelle il y a beaucoup d'йlйments intйressants а voir. L'image est trиs nette sous cette belle luminositй.

nice the view as the presentation of the Cathedral's facade with its sides bell towers to dominating the scene.I like the excellent light and colour management as the architectral style of the Cathedral.

Very attractive upwards point of view in your composition here, it gives a great majesty to this already impressive building. And the sky behind is superb, a perfect backdrop to such fine architecture.

bellissima prospettiva che ci rende questa stupenda cattedrale imponente! Ottimi i colori, nitidezza e luce! Oggi ho scoperto che esiste un' altra Notre- Dame nata prima di quella di Parigi!

Wow ..... cette image merveilleuse, la faзade de cette cathйdrale est superbe, et pris dans le mкme POV est grand, avec le second tour, nous voyons bвtiment derriиre et а cфtй nous voyons certainement l'office de tourisme est facile dans cette ville ....!
Magnifique ciel qui est un gros bonus pour un travail magnifique.
Trиs bon niveau de tons colorйs, trиs naturel.
Aussi fois la nettetй, tels que l'йclairage sont appropriйes.

Bonjour Serge,

The wide angle certainly works well here to be able and include so much into the frame, and I actually quite enjoy the distortion for this particular shot. Considering the subject matter, it feels to be reaching towards the heavens, and very befitting the concept. :) It's a minor detail, but the small arrangement of flowers in the foreground bottom of the frame adds just enough color to stand out and enhance the mostly neutral tones. Bright, focused and detailed...this turned out nicely! Bonne soirйe.

Cette cathйdrale est peut-кtre un tout petit peu moins connue que d'autres mais est trиs belle et domine la plaine environnante. Tu en as rйalisй une trиs bonne photo, trouvant le POV idйal pour la mettre en valeur.

Your upward POV adds to the imposing look of this beautiful cathedral Serge. How majestic it looks against the cloudy sky. The tower in the rear of the shot adds a good second FP adding depth and dimension to the image. Lovely details here. Warm regards rosemary

brlla ripresa effettuata anche in buone condizioni di luce come dimostra il cielo che fa da piacevole sfondo.
La cattedrale ha una vaga somiglianza con Notre Dame di Parigi e questo la rende piщ bella anche se, rispetto a quest'ultima ha un aspetto, un po' meno imponente.
Una cittа che non conoscevo e che ora posso apprezzare grazie alla tua condivisione.
Bravo.

A mesmerising shot in excellent pov which is perfect to keep the eye into perspective with wonderful immense details, superb depth which is accentuated by strong vertical convergence well flanked on either sides. Exposure is manageable where the delicious warm light and rich colors have boosted the visual quality and nicely set off by the blue sky. A lovely shot, Well done.

I have never heard about this town before so I am quite surprised to see such a beautiful cathedral.
Lovely composition with great sky as a background.
I usually prefer a straight perspective but here the wide angle adds a nice geometric effect.

I noticed this photo a few days ago and I meant to get to it earlier. What caught my attention was the tilted perspectives, I like that sort of look.

the backwards lean goes to show just how large this structure is, and I really enjoy the blue and white clouds that go along with it.

The antique building is enormous and magnificent, your point of view very close and your wide angle lens has created a most attractive effect. The church stands out superbly against the contrasting backdrop. We get a great description of its architectural style and details.
