Photographer's Note
A close up on a closed pillar of the Eiffel with its lattice beams and elevator car waiting for the next day. In the foreground is the sign over the entrance. I don´t know the purpose of the net but it could be some maintenance work going on.
This is not really a night shot, I used spotmetering and exposed for the elevator car and then there was no problem taking this picture handheld.
And as you see, the closing is near. After this close up of the closed north pillar I will start to move away from the tower but it might pop up in a background somewhere.
This is a repost but maybe I did not do that in the correct formal way. I have cropped harder to concentrate and also to make the sign bigger to work better in the pixel pattern. The sign is made up of a lot of small lights so it has a pattern of itself and that gives some strange effects together with pixels.

Ebbe great colors! This is a good composition, with superb yellow/red lights. Another good job.

Very beautiful image Ebbe. I love it. The composition is..... PERFECT. The pillar "sign" is really supporting this picture.
The metering you have done is perfect too.

je preferais la photo posté hioer soir , car le panneau lumineux prenais moins de place.
(pourquoi ne pas avoir utilisé la fonction Re -post ? )
Pour le reste c'est tres bon !

What I said yesterday about colors and silhouette, goes today too, Ebbe. If this picture is an improvement is hard to say, as I'm not able to compare the two (of reasons you've explained), so I have to go on feeling. Trying to remember what I felt for yesterday's posting and compare that to what I feel for today's.
Much of what I said yesterday about the mixture is still valid, although I think I'm more positive towards this one. Why is hard to say. Maybe because the sign is bigger; maybe because you've cropped tighter; maybe because the diagonals are more harmonic...
Anyhow, I know it's difficult with images containing too many elements. I have a posting of that kind, and it has not been commented at all! Maybe I shall do what you did - have a good look, do a bit of cropping or adjusting, and repost it to see if the reactions change (or appear at all).
I think the net is there to prevent the doves from nesting..?
