Photographer's Note

I took this during the Chinese New Year Parade on the Champs-Elysйe. I like the contrast of the old style European looking lamp and the modern red plastic Asian balloon. I also like how the balloon is leaning towards the lamp it makes the composistion more triangular. Also I had no control over it but I like that the clouds are really low in the sky and nowhere else.

Interesting mixture of asian and european seen in the same frame. I like how you show the roman characters and the asian characters at the bottom of the frame. Nice triangular composition.
