I visited the area of the Notre Dame and I saw this kind street musician. The atmosphere was especially charming with his lovely music.

He certainly seems to be in the moment, swaying with his tune like this, and what a place to perform! I love the idea that you composed the great cathedral on the thirds line like this, and the sky, although cloudy, has a great amount of activity, the spire seems to be trying to pierce those clouds. A very nice happy moment, you captured the spirit of the image really well.

Charming is an entirely appropriate word! I think I might have been tempted to get a bit closer, but there's no way you're going to stand in the middle of that road! I wonder what you think of this modern fashion for love-locks. At first I was quite taken with the idea; now I see them as a mere eyesore, and I believe they're being removed at least from the Pont Neuf in Paris.

Hello Agnes,

Charming is exactly the right word for this scene! The street musician sets the tone and though the sky is dull there is nothing else dull about the scene; it is very relaxed.
Though the figures and the colourful locks dominate the f/g, the great cathedral still has an immense presence.
