Photographer's Note
Something more classic : a blue giraffe on the Place des Vosges.
It was called Place Royale before the Revolution. It was built by Henri IV from 1605 to 1612.

pitty that the audience cannot appreciate such a demanding, brain-washing, "irritating", provoking image...
most likable work...

mmh, is the blue giraffe a new decor element..? wasn't there when I visited Place des Vosges in May... :)
but then again, with all the art galleries under the arches... I have lots of photos of this place, most of them on Ilford film, and always the play with light and shadows, like here, has a major role.
you have indeed chosen a classic tilt, a diagonal cut that polarizes the two zones and leads the eye along this elegant gallery. it reminds me of the compositions assignments we used to get from our photography teacher :)
